Movanur ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, name (if provided via Apple/Google sign-in).
• Journey data: Your start date, completed lessons, quiz scores, streaks, and badges.
• Community posts: Messages you send in your journey group.
• AI Mentor conversations: Messages sent to Nura are processed by Anthropic's Claude API and stored for up to 30 days to maintain conversation context, then automatically deleted.
• Prayer times: The city and country you enter manually. We do not collect or store your GPS location.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage data via PostHog (screen views, feature usage). No personal identifiers are included.
• Crash reports: Anonymous crash data via Sentry to help us fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise the 90-day learning experience.
• To sync your progress across devices.
• To match you with a weekly journey group.
• To generate AI responses via Nura (Anthropic Claude API).
• To send push notifications (only if you grant permission).
• To improve the app using anonymous analytics.

3. AI Mentor (Nura)

Nura is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you send a message to Nura, your message text is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate a response. No personal profile data (name, email, etc.) is included in these requests — only the message text and recent conversation history. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy.

Conversations are stored in our database for 30 days to maintain context across sessions, then permanently deleted.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the app:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI responses (message text only)
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• PostHog — anonymous analytics
• Sentry — anonymous crash reporting

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your data is removed from our database within 24 hours.

6. Children's Privacy

Movanur is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@movanur.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
